Xpress for Microsoft Solver Foundation

Xpress is now available as a solver plugin for the Microsoft Solver Foundation. Solver Foundation is a Microsoft framework designed to deliver critical business insight tools to CxOs, quantitative analysts and developers of mission-critical systems. Traditionally referred to as mathematical programming, these tools provide business intelligence and planning support to organizations seeking maximal competitive advantage.

Xpress for MSF is available as an extended evaluation ( 6 months ) for non-production use from the link below below. The Xpress for MSF evaluation package is throttled to the following capacity: LP/QP models are restricted to no more than 100k non-zeros, MIP models are restricted to 500 variables, 500 constraints, and 5k non-zeros. Note that stricter limits imposed by the MSF itself may apply depending on the MSF edition used.

Existing users of Xpress with paid licenses can use their software with the MSF. The capacity will be throttled to the MSF level for the appropriate edition, no restrictions will be applied by Xpress itself.
